Smart Phone Apps
Just wondering what smart phone apps are being used here. The ones I like are:
The Bmw Drivers Guide in case I forget how to check the oil etc. It contains the Owners Manual and can set bookmarks Waze Community App shows where others are seeing radar and wrecks and coordinates with Google Maps. Have a co-pilot for this one. Works great in Florida and most Interstates. GPS digital speed. Checks your speedometer, not really necessary after that. Gas Buddy my favorite when prices are high. Shows nearby prices on a map Pure Gas shows where non ethanol can be found. My car seems to run better with it. (The non ethanol that is) Google maps with traffic enabled. Also the voice search for almost anything imaginable on a map The phone cam in a windshield holder for videos of the Tail of the Dragon or track time. (caution, videos are boring) |

Spotify has a great app that displays the Album art for each song on the screen in the car. The newer BMWs do this by default through Bluetooth audio. Kind of disappointing that my 2014 35si does not.
