Questions for anyone that switched from reg front bumper to M bumper

Two questions:
1. Hard to see clearly but for the oil cooler intake? located at the passenger side, there is some plastic housing that guides the air in: obviously it was shaped for the original bumper so now that I have the M bumper, the shop had to shave the plastic off a bit to fit as it was sticking out too much. Was there a plastic housing specific to the M bumper that I should've ordered? Can you guys w/ the M bumper as your original bumper take a pic to show what it should look like? I'm probably gonna leave it since I can't see it until I get close but wondering if you guys would do anything about the plastic housing not being flush w/ the opening.

2. I wish to keep the bumper UNdrilled so after reading this whole thread, I've decided to use this Bell plate mounting bracket. Has anyone done this for their Z4 and in particular w/ the M bumper? Any installation pointers? If anyone in the Toronto area knows where I can pick one up locally that would be great also. Tx.

Why not mount the number plate via two 'L' shaped bracket which are permanently attached to the number plate, but bolt under the top edge of the lower intake, by say wing nuts.
Would maintain a clean bumper front.

What's the pt if there are holes, albeit 'hidden' from frontal view? Virgin bumper shall remain virgin.
