Hi forum, my first post!
Have owned a 35i m sport for a number of months. Recently just clocked 2.5k miles - so its not even run in yet!  over a period of time, there was a rattling noise - couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Eventually, while driving I heard something bounce on the underside of the car! Since then, the rattling noise increased - mainly while in idle or around 1300 revs at any speed. Took it to my local dealer to inspect. Turns out that one of the exhaust brackets has worked its way loose and fell off. No sign of the 2 bolts holding it! Fortunately the bracket is covered under warranty and has been replaced! while it was in the garage I also got them to replace the + paddle shifter as this was squeaking... Back to happy motoring! |
