Those who were fortunate enough to be able to grow beards and decided to make them look as unmanly as possible.

I couldn't agree more. I hate this generation. Had a guy trying to explain to me the other day why people over 60 shouldn't be allowed to vote all based on his notion of people over 60 have have already lived their lives and no longer make safe decisions. The country should be in the hands of the youth was his statement. I asked if he really felt that elderly people who served in wars and paved the way for this little shits freedoms should have to be told that they no longer receive medical benefits to pay for someone's sex surgery because they can't decide if they are a man or a woman. If you put glitter in your beard, wear a romper, eat tide pods, can't figure out what bits are between your thighs or wear skinny jeans, you shouldn't be allowed to make decisions that impacts anyone's life.

End rant.
He's more than welcome to surrender his rights when he turns 60, if he chooses.

I wonder if he'll still feel the same way when he's 59.

Kids have alway been little dumb asses doing what little dumb asses do. And I 100% agree that with the advent of the internet and the 24-7 "news" cycle, we now just hear about it much more often and more quickly.

I have 30~ish 21 to 30 year olds working for me. Yes, they are often a little entitled right out of the shoot but they are coachable and they are F'ing smart. They are also willing to put in 120% to get what they want. There's hope for the world, IMO.
I agree with you that every generation does stupid sh!t when it's young. That's to be expected.

I don't agree with your assessment of the work ethic, though. I rarely see it from my employees; the good news is the few that show it move up quickly.

What sort of job do you hire for? Blue collar, white collar? College degree required? Specific degree for a specific role (like an engineering degree for an engineering role)? How rigorous is your hiring process?

Our hiring process is extremely rigorous and we are very picky. People with a sub-par work ethic rarely make it through to being hired. Maybe 1 out of 50 hires and we uncover it and terminate them quickly; they don't survive.

The smart, motivated, hard working young men and women are out there but you have to know how to attract the applicants, how to screen out the garbage, how to hire, and how to keep them engaged.

Kids today eat laundry detergent and snort latex.

I mentioned that to him. His response was that when he turned 60 he would gladly surrender his rights to vote. I told him to remember that conversation in 20 years when he's 40 and see if his point view changes. Of course it fell on deaf ears.

This just proved the gene pool has become corrupted. Guys have always done stupid things. It seem like the generation of kids these days have some serious issues. I think it all the pampering the moms are doing to these kids. They are not learning at young age not to do stupid things. Mom spending too much time making sure their kids never get hurt.
