FS: Carbon Fiber Eyelids (brand new) - E89

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
SOLD.

Up for sale is a brand new set of real carbon fiber eyelids for the E89.

I test fitted them on my E89 and they look SWEET. The only reason I've decided not to use them is because I'm in the process of blacking out my car, and the carbon fiber wouldn't match.

I received these as a Christmas gift from my parents. Being as they were shipped from Asia and took a month to arrive, and I would spend a lot shipping them back, I figured I would sell them online here to someone else.

These are brand new...included is a roll of 3M auto adhesive tape to install these. My price is $50.00 + shipping within the lower 48 states.

Most people may say eyelids look cheap or stupid on the E89, but they cover up that cheap looking plastic piece within the headlight, and actually make the car look much more elegant. It's all personal opinion, I'm aware, but for someone who wants these shipped from within the U.S., and at a solid price, here's your opportunity.

Pics (I tried to get two different angles so you can see the real carbon fiber weave):

Questions, just PM me. I take PayPal only.

How thick?

I'm interested in them just one question.

How thick are they? Do they blend in or do they stick up. Can you post some pics of them with you holding them in place.

I will post pictures tomorrow guys. My car is at the shop getting the stock eyelids tinted over the headlight in black, so pics may not be exactly what you're looking for. But they should accomplish what you guys are asking.

Pics will be posted tomorrow as soon as I get my car back!

Experimental black eyebrows

I've seen talk about stick-on carbon fibre eyebrows for the E89, and thought I would experiment with another alternative; dark film. I made an accurate template the shape of the white area above the headlight beams and cut out two pieces of cheap dark tint film and applied them myself to see what it looked like: not too bad in my opinion. Comments?
