WOW!
Makes me not want to visit my in-laws in NYC over the holidays. Glad no one was seriously hurt. Bad move by the driver trying to get through the mob, but also seemed like an unprovoked attack as well. |

Yea, no other option for the driver. No good options overall.
Call me paranoid, but even before I saw this, my plan for when I go out for dinner to watch fireworks for July 4 was either taking Uber or a Car2Go electric smart car. Z stays in the garage when mobs are around! |

Lol. Wife was just saying what a great view we’re going to have with the top down at the firework show. Little does she know that the Hyundai Sante Fe is coming out. I’m not risking the Z on that night.

I think the driver shouldn't have tried to drive through that crowd anyhow it was dangerous for the people. That IMHO is what sparked an already tense situation.
