How do I obtain the Build Spec on my car

Hello all,

I am trying to obtain the original factory build spec on my car (not what is on the realoem website). I saw on this site that I could get this by calling BMW NA Customer relations, but they said I would have to go to the dealer.

Does anyone know how I can get it sent to me without a dealer visit?

in this post there is a link to a research tool. IT will show what options came wth th ecar from the factory. In German if I remember right
