Looking to lease 2013 35is

I'm looking to lease a 2013 35is sales demo msrp $72,495. Howmuch of a discount could I expect? What would be a good lease deal on this car? Would I get a better deal on a 2014 because of higher residual value?

One poster here got his brand new 35is with a low 70s msrp for 60k. Car was leftover and I believe it was snow belt state.

Negotiate super hard for the car. A leftover pre lci is golden for discounts. Try for at least 10% off and definitely push for below invoice.

As for bigger discount vs higher residual you will need to run the numbers.

Good luck!

that is a crazy deal, none of my local dealers would entertain anything below mid-600s for anything that's not an ordered base model Z4 35i.

You might need to check on this.

If you're going to lease the car the 2013's have had a 2% better residual then the 2014's it was sitting at 67% for 36mo./10,000mi.

Here's what I got back from the CA:

I've been working a lease deal on this car over the course of the last week. His parameters are 24 mo/10k lease w/ standard drive-off (1st payment & CA DMV fees)... The 24 month payment is higher of course, but not significantly so.

With a 4,000 discount (follow the link for true car pricing, which provides accurate invoice & msrp information), his drive off is 1,670, & has a 24 mo payment yield of 1,067 plus tax.

Granted we have a small profit in the car, but nowhere near enough to reach a payment close to 600... We would have to discount the car a further 25,000 or so (every 1k in cost or discount is equal to about $20/mo) to reach your budget.

https://www.truecar.com/dash/1374183...255555/market/

I just did a 36/10 lease on a zero profit 320i (msrp 36k-ish) and the payment was just over 500 including tax.

Thanks Thom.. I'm afraid my owner won't allow me to lose 25k on this unvbelievelably beautiful Z4.

4000 discount is pretty weak. You can do better than truecar on the Z4 since it is such a poor seller

Re the no profit 320 lease for 500/mo incl tax... that lease payment is a joke because my wife's '13 335 with a decent amt of options is 458/mo incl tax (max msds).. and our old '11 328 with minimal options was 420/mo incl tax (0 msd, custom ordered)

Overall, I re-iterate that you need to find a new dealer. If you get the timing right with a car that's on the lot, you can do under invoice price deals for both E89 35i and F30 35i
