Michelin SS vs All seasons....

Sitting at dealer - just found out a run flat is bad (awwww...) so time to get them off the car. TPS sensor went off at 28 psi on the rears - WTF? Almost useless and lit up all 4 corners on the idrive as being low - that normal?

Anyone driving on the Michelin all seasons (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3) ??

45k warranty looks nice, but wondering if really worth it vs SS (cost difference is <$50 total). Most of my driving will be highway cruising, and very little track time.

Just doing the due diligence, as only had the car 2 months....

if your driving force is high mileage, you won't get that with PSS. I just changed out my rears at 16K. And you will sacrifice performance with AS. Hey, it's a $65000 sports car...all seasons?

Understand - just want to understand the expectation and share that with the wifey. She got tired of the repair bills on my e38 and is expecting the same thing again (well, with a warranty this time).

Can I assume 25k on the front @ 15k on the rears is going to be "average" due to the staggered set-up? I"m on 18" rims.....

My OEM RFTs (also 18s) ran out at 45K kms/28K miles.

EDIT: should be a bit less because apparently my rears were naked/bald(!) and I didn't realize it till later on. The fronts were still good for a long time even after the rears went bald.

HA! I remember driving my e38 through 4" of snow to get to the airport one year, spinning with traction control off the whole way. If this was a third car it would not be an issue, but we typically get 2-3 snow "events" a year. 3 yrs ago had 1" in Jan, 3" Feb and 8" in March.....

So much for Wiki...supposedly the climate stated there said that you were ~7C avg for the coldest months. Still, seems like a waste if you only have just a handful of snow/below threshold temp days.

Yeah, I think that's about right.
