Are these tweeters worth using?

I managed to get hold of some tweeters recently via ebay, not sure what they came from or if they're of any use.

Anyone that's added tweeters, can you comment on the spec of your tweeters?

Here's some pics

My concern is they're rated as 8 ohms and only 20watts?

I plan at some stage to go down the amplifier route (Blaupunkt THA475) so not sure if its worth adding these.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

David

I guess you read my posts before, but I went for a replacement of the 4" mid range speakers with the 'full' range Omnes Audio BB3.01 (cutt off ~100hz). These speakers will make a tweeter obsolete and will sound better than a good 2 way system.

Normally a multi way speaker system, in your case a 3 way (front), is a careful designed system so the speakers and filters and their characteristics fit together to reproduce a good sound. Your concerns about the 8 ohm impedance is one of the characteristics. Just adding a speaker can ruin the sound quality. As far I can see, your tweeter don't has a high pass filter, that is also required before you connect it to your system.
