I run with PS2s on my summers, PS2s on my track wheels, and 3Ds for my winter. Those are my snow boards. Cant afford anything else.

I really miss my PS2s tho. For my driving style, winter tires just arent cutting it. Im sliding all over the damn place.

I need to pull the trigger on some winter rubber. Passed on a set of Dunlop Sport M3's mounted on e46 M3 euro replicas. Barely used, I did all the swaps for the guy. Only $400, but I'm thinking I want the Bridgestones. I love their tires, it's what I'll go with in the spring.

How bad do the roads get there in the winter? I'm trying to decide what to get - the LM-25 or the WS-60. The WS-60 is much better in the snow, but sacrifices some dry traction. The -25 (?) has better dry / wet, but gives up a little ice and snow traction.

Its usually dry, thats why I went for the 3Ds. they are a performance winter tire. But still they dont even compare to the PS2s.

I have a season pass w/ Vail associates. I learned to ski in the midwest, learned to ride about 6 years ago, and now only go out west. Riding chest deep pow is better than bad sex!

I'm also about 6-1 and 285, so I need a big board there too. The smaller and softer boards just buckle under me!

Maybe, but I'm looking for weight savings. Likely means forged. We'll see what comes out in the next couple months. I like the 172's off the 550sport, but most people don't seem to like these.

well cheap and forged usually dont go in the same sentence.. you have the morr vs7's that are light and not tooo expensive...

or you can get a set of 18inch volk re-30's at 17lbs a corner and put a nice r compound on it and call it a day too.... probably one of the lightest wheels out there, without going into the crazy magnesium wheels...

Don't figure I'll get them cheap! I like what I've seen from morr. He mentioned some new stuff coming out later this year or early next, so I'll see what he does. If I can get around 20lbs / wheel, I'd be ok with that. I think the stock wheel is about 24?
