Since there is 100x more love than hate for the Z4, if the moderator is reading this, please consider deleteing the thread, "Why all the Z4 Hate". It only represents a tiny fraction of the population, so there really is no purpose to giving a thread like that more than it's 15 minutes of fame.

If anyone wants to post here to exemplify all the LOVE, please feel free.

I'll start out with....Amazing max Torque at 1500 RPMs in the Twin Turbo!!!

I have literally gotten comments like "beautiful car" everyday (except one) since I bought the car four weeks ago. My Mom (who has a Jet Black Z3) tells me how gorgeous it is every time we talk. Yesterday she said whenever I want to get rid of it, she wants it no matter the price. These cars are stunning and ridiculously fun. If someone verbally trashes them they clearly haven't driven one.

35iDriver,

Thank you for making such a positive thread. There are so many negative threads in forums (all forums), it is a breath of fresh air to see one that is 100% positive and upbeat! Nicely done my friend.

No hate for mine.

I found similar positive comments. Car guys like it. Non-Car guys Love it. Young and old both comment, on my Z4.

Toughest critic was by brother, who has many BMW's and is a M3 driver. We did Euro delivery together and afterwords he said, I though it was a mistake before driving but its a nice ride. This from a very hard core track guy and not a open top guy.

I valet it only at places I trust and frequent. Many are surface parking within sight anyway.

But how should I put it; if you are driving a z4 here, your time should be too precious to be parking your own car. And you can definitely afford to replace it, so a stranger housekeeping it for you becomes kinda fine!

No valet for me. I figure, why pay some teenager to drive my nice car? That's like a rental car company paying you to rent a car. I let friends and family drive my cars.....not strangers.

Funny enough, I pulled into one of my favorite upscale restaurants last weekend in my DeLorean and the valet came (literally) running towards me with a big goofy grin on his face. He looked like he was going to cry when I pulled into a spot right in front of the place and parked it on my own. it was hilarious and sad at the same time. LOL

Some lady gave me a "cute car comment"
Not the kind of compliment I was looking for but the Z does turn heads nonetheless.

Now, I know this may come as a complete and utter shock, but your logic has not changed my mind.
Like most, I most definitely do not have enough money to be able to just replace my Z4 should a crazy valet driver reck it. I'd like to keep the one I have too, as I've grown quite fond of her. I'm perfectly good with walking my a$$ the extra 50 yards to the front door of any establisment, after having parked far enough away to not only keep it from the ignorant valet, but from the rest of the ignorant putzs walking and driving on the planet.

...and if I won the lottery tomorrow and got my new Ferrari 458 Italia, I STLL wouldn't valet the car.

Picking up my car at a guarded parking lot earlier this year, the attendant asked me which car was mine.

When I pointed to the Z4 he replied, "oh, you're the guy who drives THE MACHINE !"

'nuff said.

I think these 2 pictures say it all. My car at a show and Jayda's at a more recent show. Just the admiration on everyone's faces.

I agree completely. I compared the Z4 to the Vette Gran Sport, Cayman S, SLK, G37, and S5 before finally making a down payment to order my 35i. The interior style, quality, and driver-focused design made the choice clear ... Yes, the exterior is down-right gorgeous ... But the interior of the car beats all competitors. And I don't even get my Canyon Brown cockpit until next week ... Performance Delivery here I come!

Finally somebody else with Canyon Brown. I thought I was the only one! You will love it. The black/brown color design is great. The white stitching reflects a bit in the windshield, but I don 't even notice it anymore.

I guess I am gonna join in the e-wanking off about how awesome our z4s are.

I was driving it in downtown with the roof down. A tourist looking passenger in a cab took out his huge DSLR camera and took a photo of our car from side at traffic light stop. Gf was complaining about her hair would look messy in the photo (because I refuse to use the rear air deflector). Good times.
