Modding
Hey Guys,
Summer is around the corner, so I was thinking of getting the Z ready. I thought we'll all brainstorm I was just wondering if you guys have seen any mods done to this car on your web prowl that you went " Wow if I can I would do this". nothing cheesy, something different. We all seen the same 3D designs etc, don't get me wrong thats what I have on my car. But something to re-boot the senses like Mansory does (www.mansory.com). -I |

It sounds to me if you want the more extreme side of styling on these cars you can look at the Rowen kit, or the duke dynamics widebody (no completed pics are available yet to my knowledge).
http://www.rowen-tk.com/carlineup_en...gallery_en.htm http://www.dukedynamics.com/products/bmw_e89.php# http://www.bimmerkit.com/shop/index....-widebody.html The duke dynamics kit is available in full carbon fiber. |

IMHO those kits are fugly and very expensive I have to admit thought that Rowen makes the best looking and sounding exhaust system for the E89 Z4 , the only problem is they want 550K Yens for it , which is almost 6K USD

++1 For some people, it's just never enough.

Well I hope it's never enough if it is we won't be putting stuff like this with pride. "2012 Z4 35i, ED 2/24/2012, Melbourne Red Metallic, Black Leather, Carbon Trim, 6MT, ///M Sport, CW, PP, PS, NAV, CA, Alpine HID Angel Eyes, pedal covers, stubby antenna."
Look we all love our regular, 1, 3, 5, 6 series etc but if we get the chance to get the M aggressiveness we'd jump at the chance (i am not just talking about the bumper) Sadly the e89 doesn't have many options from the factory or after market, So all our cars end up looking the same after. Just wondering if there's anything out there that I haven't seen. In 2004 I came a cross this novelty item called a "stubby antenna" for my first Z in a forum, funny how the forums work. -I |

Rotors
I would say the best looking mod and one of the cheapest is to paint the rusty part of the rotors black, gray or some other appropriate color!

I love the Z body as is. If I had the dough, my wish list list would be a nice drop, multiple sets of wheels and tires, GT performance tune, performance exhaust, the best seats $$ could buy, maybe 4 wheel drive just to name a few.
