Coilovers with M-Suspension

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding coilovers. I am currently shopping for a set, hoping to improve the road feel and handling of my 35is. My car has M adaptive suspension. If I install a set of coilovers, will my car throw any codes or anything?

Thanks!

I remember researching this and I believe it will throw a code. There are ways to avoid the module however, such as custom programming.

I have a set of KW V3 that came with the module that eliminates Adaptive suspension codes.

where is the module installed? You can also do coding on the ECU to eliminate it, but that ends up being just as expensive.

The car will throw an error if the M performance dampers are removed. Easy way to get rid of it is to simply remove the EDC module (its located in the e-box in the engine bay), then use NCS expert to code out the adaptive suspension.
