Warning triangle

Hi,

Is the warning triangle mounted in the trunk of the car?

The warning triangle in my car is not mounted but just lying in the boot (without holders).

Anyone have a pic how it is mounted on your car?

Thanks

Maaij

Hi Maaij

This is how it should be, taken from an older post of mine...

Two clips on the lid of the boot.

Hope that helps

The US model seem to not have either the triangle, nor the clips if you bought the triangle separately

It does, though, have the indentation in the trunk/boot liner.

I believe ED cars have the warning triangle even if they are destined for the US.

It may be that the warning triangles are needed for it to be legal in Europe? I've got a triangle from an audi/VW, but I'd really like a good place to stash it.

Warning triangles are for european delivery only, they are a required safety item, along with first aid kit, and in some EU contries a safety vest for each passenger.
