154mph... but i didnt have DSC completely turned off, i was also boucing off the rev limiter which caused my bogging issues. After looking at the logs my tuner gave me some feedback.

Next time out i think ill break 160's.

There is a misconception about the Z4 with DSC being completely disabled. So hears a breakdown that I am aware of

The Z4, similar to the 1M and 335is DCT, has two different mappings for Sport off/on

Sport Off is the default map or non enthusiast mode

Sport (On) is the enthusiast map, quicker torque response, throttle, and gear engagement

Sport+ is the same as Sport On but in addition allows more limited wheel spin and drifting without DSC having to intervene

DSC completely off puts you in Sport Off default mapping. (Unless there is a combo that I don't know about to keep Sport on while having DSC completely turned off ?)

Unlike the 1M and the DCT 335is you can completely disable DSC and keep Sport On mapping

So, do your logging with Sport+ vs DSC completely off and you will see in the logs and feel the difference.

thanks for the info. So just sport+, and leave DSC "on"? (IE: DONT hold down the DSC button till you get the triangle)

Yep, just sport +. No need to touch dsc button. I went through this during previous logging.

Dsc button will take you out of sport + mapping.

Thanks. i was doing all my runs in "sport" and bouncing off the rev limiter...and the car was bogging like a MF'er.

E89 Z4 - VTT Stg 2+ EK build

Some pics of my car from no fly zone last weekend. Hit a best of 154mph.

video of me vs. 650hp CTS-V

Here's the build thread documenting what was done:

Bonkers power - I thought my 370 on my 35iS was "quick". Are you running an LSD?

Lambobimmer is right, its a top speed roll race for a 1/2 mile. All my runs started in 2nd gear and 40mph.

I dont have an LSD yet, but its on the way soon.

Does below represent your fuel system?

Tank with stock pump to Y
line 1 to HPFP
line 2 to inline pump to PI

What inline pump are you using? What ethanol percent for 606 whp?

I am running a Fuel-It stage 2 pump, Fuel-It TBI, Hexon RR600s with 20psi with E65 and am guessing I am at ~550whp. The low pressure is crashing above 6200rpm and am looking for options to improve fueling. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, I ran 150.2mph at WannaGoFast 1/2 mile from a dig.

yes.

ethanol was probably E60-70ish? i had a few gallons of 91 oct + E85, but i have no idea if it was actually E85 from the pump.
