Pianted roll bar hoops- crimson red
I know some owners have done theirs white, yellow and black. Wnated to show mine in case anyone with crimson red was looking to do the same.

I think it looks great. Nice paint job. I had my roll bars painted in Orion Silver right after I took delivery. I thought that the silver roll bars clashed with the Orion Silver. My dealer also did an outstanding job in painting them. I think my car looks alot better with the roll bars painted to match the body color, as the clashing of the two in my case, was very noticeable.

Yes, they are very easy to take off.
Start at one side of the hoop, at the bottom. Grab both sides, inserting your fingernail into the gap. Pull straight, and it will eventually pop out. Move on to the other side, again bottom. Once both the bottoms are loose, then move up to the top (the actual loop area). |

I like the look. I am waiting for my Space Gray Metallic paint to arrive with clear coat. i am going to paint the roll bar hoops and the black plastic section located between the middle and outer lower grills the Space Gray Metallic to give an M bumper appreanace.

That's look cool. I was wonder is that very hard to pull the roll bar cover off
on the 2011 Z4 and do you need any special tool to do that. I don't want to break the clips inside. |
