Looks cool - very custom!

The finish on your hoops is excellent - kudos to your painter on the nice prep work.

Sorry but it's too much red... Silver used to stylistically fit with your rims, exhaust and turning lights....

I think it looks great. Nice paint job. I had my roll bars painted in Orion Silver right after I took delivery. I thought that the silver roll bars clashed with the Orion Silver. My dealer also did an outstanding job in painting them. I think my car looks alot better with the roll bars painted to match the body color, as the clashing of the two in my case, was very noticeable.

If you don't mind, how much did it run you to have them painted?

I've been thinking about doing mine in black

Ditto.

But not gloss black (like the body paint), more like flat/matte black with the textures that match the front roll-bar hoops.

Yes, they are very easy to take off.

Start at one side of the hoop, at the bottom. Grab both sides, inserting your fingernail into the gap. Pull straight, and it will eventually pop out. Move on to the other side, again bottom. Once both the bottoms are loose, then move up to the top (the actual loop area).

I like the look. I am waiting for my Space Gray Metallic paint to arrive with clear coat. i am going to paint the roll bar hoops and the black plastic section located between the middle and outer lower grills the Space Gray Metallic to give an M bumper appreanace.

I'm not really feeling it to be honest. But what's important is that YOU enjoy it

That's look cool. I was wonder is that very hard to pull the roll bar cover off
on the 2011 Z4 and do you need any special tool to do that. I don't want to
break the clips inside.
