Replacing Halo halogen with LED on passenger side

Has anyone replaced both halogen halo lamps on pre-LCI E89 (2011 in my case)

I've replaced the halogen lamp for driver side. It's straightforward: get to the headlamp compartment and rotate the halogen anti-clockwise to release.
Problem is on the passenger side, there is no room to rotate it anticlockwise. Its blocked by some screws and other parts. However, there is enough room in clockwise direction but it doesnt unscrew that way.

Any pointers?

Question 2: Why does the inner halo ring seem brighter than the outer? Is there a way to have equals?

I had it done on my ex-E89. You just need really small hands for the task, no other way around it as far as I know.

The answer to your 2nd question is that's the way the headlights on pre-LCI models are designed. You can not alter it to your liking by simply replacing the bulbs. They fixed this discrepancy in LCI models.

My hands have decent room. I meant there is no space for the bulb to unscrew in counterclockwise direction

They unscrew opposite to each other, I did this a few weeks back.

Oops you're right. Had to push a little hard for it to budge
