Am I the only launch control 'virgin'? LOL

To date I've had this car for close to 3 years, nearing 100,000kms (62,000miles) but I've never tried LC, mainly because I'm too lazy to find that empty stretch of road w/o any cops around.

Anyone else a LC virgin and if yes do you plan to pop your cherry someday?

launch doesn't mean speed. If there's no around to hear the tires spin you are golden

I plan on giving it a try but it's difficult to find the space.

Never tried too. I will probably soon..
I am just waiting for the right car at the right red light

Just a reminder for those tempted to try:

1. Within the engine running, depress the brake pedal with your left foot.
2. Activate the SPORT+ program of the Dynamic Driving Control
3. With the vehicle stationary, activate manual mode and select 1st gear
4. Press the accelerator all the way down. The engine speed when driving off is controlled. A flag symbol appears in the instrument cluster.
5. The vehicle accelerates when you release the brake pedal. Keep the accelerator pressed all the way down.
6. The transmission shifts up automatically as long as the accelerator is pressed all the way down.

Requirements:
- Launch Control is available when the enfine is at operating temperature, i.e., after driving continuously for at least 6 miles/10 km.
- Launch Control can only be used after the break-in phase.

you can launch it for as long as under 100km if you want to give it a go. Just give's you a good feel for the first 2 gears. What's more fun is disabling the traction, put it on M1 and rip it round and round. Nice to smell some burning tires from time to time.
