Hottest day in 125 year = no top down

109 degrees in Columbia, SC which is the hotest day since temps have been recorded. Said another way, the hottest day here in 125 years. This was not a day to drive with the top down!

When I drove my Z4 the 1100 miles from Houston to Denver, I had the top down for about 5 minutes. It was over 100 most of the way. The Z4 has a kick ass AC unit.

Been driving to work in the morninbg with the top down and up on the way home because its been over 100 most days the last week

I did that too, spring and fall top down driving home, but in the summer it was top down going into work. Just needed a good hair spray for the few I have left...

In Wilmington, NC for a wedding and had the top down at 108 (per the on board computer). I thought my arm was going to melt.

I was stupid and drove yesterday with the top down for about 50 miles in 110 degree heat (per the car's thermostat, so it probably wasn't quite that hot). Won't be doing that again.

in Austin last year we had 83 days of 100+ degree temperatures - the most ever on record in one year; even as a native Texan, my max is about 90-95 degrees for a short period of time

Agree with the kick ass air unit. I can easily survive with the AC on 80 and fan speed on two! Another of record heat in SC! The Z4 didn't go out of the garage!
Dang just when gas prices drop!

Getting seriously annoyed with the weather down here Too much rain, annoyingly strong wind too At first it looked like it was going to be a nice day, but now a few showers are forecasted. Next days do look great, but then I'll be at work and coming weekend looks crap I need to move.. French Cote d'Azur or something comes to mind..

18 Degrees and rain here in the UK... no top down either

When I'm reborn, it had better be in a sunnier country!

few weeks ago it was 121 in NYC, on the stop light i lowered the top and drove for few blocks just out of curiosity....i felt like i was in an oven being baked like a rotisserie chicken

before u had a thread on lowest top down temp, this should be on highest top up temps

i figured mid 90's if you're doing highway driving anything higher is not comfortable in nyc's high humidity

A day last week was the first time I kept the top up on a sunny day since owning the car. Granted, I've only owned it for about a month, but it was over 100 with very high humidity.

At least in CO it's usually somewhat cool in the morning... I can't remember it ever being this hot here...we've been hitting 100 for weeks now.

Who doesn't like a little back-sweat from time to time?
