Nobody (myself included) has taken a picture of that detail.

This would be great as I have to take a final decision on my order now.
The colur is oyster inside. If your dealer has product selling points from desember 2008 he can show you.

My girlfriend is wondering why I am reading it 2-3 times e week for a couple of weeks. I think I might find some new photos.

I know that it is Oyster but my dealer could not show me any samples.

The German configurator says for the roofline anthrazit "the roof liner is anthrazit instead of light beige".

My dealer thinks that Oyster will be more in the light gray area.

I have seen two cars in Geneva and both had a light beige roof liner (one with pure white interior the other with canberra beige).

So far I have the anthrazit roof liner in my order (together with extended leather kansas in black) but I am afraid that the dark roof liner will make the interior look smaller.

As I recall it the Oyster goes very with the pure white interior and is a sort of very light beige, not gray... Otherwise have a look at the catalogue, there are pictures of the white interior with the roof closed.

For me this is the best choice in combination with a black or red interior but it does tend to make the cabin look smaller.

the oyster leather for the 3 series is grey/beige. The picture i have buy my side now "says" it is beige. I would DEF go for the black. It looks more sporty and I think it will be to many colurs if you dont go for the antrasitt.

Well, in my combination (orion silver, black leather and ash wood) I think the beige roof liner would also work...

In the catalog the picture is in a "pure white" interior. I don't trust BMW that "non-pure white" will really look the same.

Do you have more info?

The "smaller" look is exactly what I am afraid of.

OK, as you can probably tell I didn't make it to the Welt this weekend. All the sudden I seem to have allergies and its kicking my butt. But (haha) I'm planning to head out tomorrow late morning.

I'll be getting plenty of pics as I have 2g on my camera (: Also, will get headliner pics etc as requested. AND if that 'guy' is there I"m going to cut his hair....

So, cross your fingers (I guess plan Z will be on Saturday)

It is a nice car don't get me wrong. It is just not for me. I like the soft-top much better. Feels like a real roadster.

Why should I care?

If you don't like the E89 in its current shape or form then don't buy it. Simple as that. Why do you feel the need discussing your dislike?

All right Guy, I just come back from Munich, I took several pics, that I'll share 2morow.

For the Anthracite roofline, be careful it seems that the folding process, stains the roof interior after a while, and it looks that it is more obvious that on the oyster counterparts.

I think that its gonna be one or the first problem of the car... hope they will fix it by adjusting the storage space between the three parts in the roof to prevent them to rub each others in the boot.
