or even, "I just want one"

In this case consider, purchase price NOT to be an issue
I would ask this metric of anyone who's owned all 3 of the big germans... Bmw, Audi and Benz and how they compare in the above...

I've never had a benz so i cant speak.

Going by your rating system...Lexus should be 1, followed by Jag, then BMW. Just noting

It's my own personal experience having owned and driven all three. Others perhaps feel differently and that's ok too

LOL I didn't even pick an option because Porsche wasn't there.

From Jag I like the F-type, and that's really the only sports car they make.

BMW isn't what it used to be but their products are still pretty strong overall. Hopefully the next M3/4 will be more engaging to drive.

There’s no “none of the above” option.

Status is surprisingly a semi-objective measure. The status of a car brand derives from the demographics of its ownership.

The higher the median income and median net worth of a car brand, the more prestigious that brand.

Ferrari owners (note: people who purchase brand new Ferraris - not used ones) boast an average (not median) income of $540,000/year and an average net worth of $4.5 million.

Rolls royce owners have an average net worth of $25 million.

The median income of a Porsche 911 owner (only the 911, not across the brand) is $380,000/year.

Thanks for voting peeps,
Yes I left out a lot of cars and possibly 2 other options such as other and none of the above

An other option would have been good, but what can you do, when you create a poll you can't change or amend it

(unless somone can say otherwise)

AFAIK, when you create a poll, you can't change the options or add new. My understanding is that this is the case so that when you abjectly fail as miserably as you have done you get to be faced with the constant reminder of your failure everytime you open the thread.

At least...that's my theory.....

Out of all the choices, the only high-end car would be an aston imho.

Also that the MB is very under rated, especially as Merc's are generally seen as high end, AMG anyone ? That really surprised me. Is that maybe because it's an NA thing ?

I'm loving that GM cars have the largest percentage of owners who identify with 'mechanically intelligent' - must be the result of having to repair their own car every two weeks, and the ongoing game of 'name that fluid on the pavement' and 'what does that noise mean'.

Also a little surprised by the 'emotional intelligence' - I thought more women drove Lexus than Lincoln.
