The drop from the Eibach's isn't enough... coilovers going on this week. I'll take a look at the spring pads when the coils go in.

They do use spring pads, had mine lowered a couple of weeks back, used H&R springs.

The performance brakes are from the E92. They bolt right on with no issues in the front. Rear brakes are still stock as I can't give up the e-brake (manual trans).

Did you have to do any coding or anything because of the front brake change? Or do you have to just bolt them up, bleed the brakes, and you are basically done?

Did you have an installation by an official BMW workshop or other?
I'm asking that 'cause I tried to have info from BMW's guys in Italy, but they said that is absolutely impossible.
Please, could you find the KIT P/N? Could it be this: 34110444738?

What about the breaking? Improving?

The part number for the front brake kit is 34110444738. Had it installed at a local shop, not BMW. Technically, the car is supposed to be coded to be aware of the different brakes, but since the part is not an official accessory for the E89 I doubt its even possible to code it. Braking is definitely improved over stock.

............................
Here are dimension about front rotors (KIT and standard).
It seems like a downgrade...

Front rotors performance kit (34110444738) = 338x26mm
Front rotors standard E89 35i (34116782593) = 348x30mm

US standard E89 35i has 30i brakes. The E92 The performance brakes are surely an upgrade to 35i stock. not so much to 35is.

mmhhhh...

35i and 35is (EU), have the same front rotors (34116782593) and caliper (34116773201 / 2).
If it's an upgrade for 35i as much as for 35is. Don't you think?

Instead, 30i have the same rotors, but different calipers.

I agree for EU spec of the car. but OP is listed as NJ, USA. where 35i and 35is have different rotor and calipers. 35i has 30i brakes. and 35is is the same as EU 35i/35is

and I'm not sure OP's car is a 35i actually.

OP, Really really nice photos btw! love it.

The grills are the standard performance black grills with the M colors added using vinyl tape from Bimmian.
