tvinmotion installed

Having a 6 DVD changer in the glovebox I figure it was time to use it. The tvinmotion I ordered stated it was for the e89, but this was purely cosmetic on EAS's website. Its just the standard e90 tvinmotion.

The installation was simple, about 35 minutes. The included hardware is acceptable. There is enough room in the back of the stereo unit to easily place the module so no worries there. There is also a mini usb to update the firmware (no new release of firmware when I checked).

Now basically I use it as a music video jukebox.

Does anyone knows if there is such a thing to enable it but for TV Tuner (Europe) DVB-T digital ?
The car would already be equipped with the standard BMW TV Tuner option.

okay - that is super cool. I guess you just download a video and burn it to a DVD?

Yep, download avi's and then burn them to DVD format with i.e. Toast, etc.

One thing I tried first was burning them to standard 700MB CD as VCD. It staggered and skipped though it played the video. It seems DVD CD's only works well.

I run mac osx leopard and have a program called Toast. It does all the conversions and burns a dvd. Not like the old days when you had to go through all the conversions with avi separating the audio/video. At least that's what little I remember from back then.
