Those with Pilot Super Sports - what pressures?

I'm currently running about 2 psi higher than stock recommendation for RFT's. 38 front 44 rear.

Anyone have other experiences or opinions ?

Michelin PSS here - 235/40x19 & 265/35x19 F/R. Driving solo as is most of the case for commuting & running errands, I settled on 34/38 F/R, after doing the "Chaulk Test" on a couple of occasions. When the wife & I go on a road trip, I bump them up to 38/42 and take the BMW jack kit from the wife's 325, the Stop & Go Plug Kit and the Michelin Mobility Kit.

Michelin PSS 19" 225/255 here. Pressure is 33 psi all around. Works perfect.

Ditto. It appears I've been running them too high.

It is always a Problem if you change tires to non-runflat until the proper tire pressure is known...

For the Z4 I got the values from a German tuner after changing my Suspension (Eibach + H&R)...

On the other Hand this is also exactly the pressure of my former car, a M3 E92, which also has PS2 non-runflats from the factory and weight nearly the same like the Z435is. So I think the figures are accurate...

Subscribed to get more views. I'm experimenting with 34/40, seems ok.

I just changed my rear non-rft PSS after 16K miles running at stock psi of 42. the tread of the old tires showed a normal wear pattern, so I'm sticking to 42 psi. You track hounds can do as you like.

I experimented with several pressures and finally settled on 36psi front and rear.

Pilot Super Sports

36 front
42 rear

Didn't try to get cute with pressure. Tire wear has been excellent.
10k miles so far and plenty of tread left.

I'm not sure why non-runflats should/would have a different PSI recommedation than runflats. ????

I'm considering buying a z435 even though I swore I'd never buy another car engineered around runflats. Question for you guys who've switched to traditional PSS tires: How much does switching to non-rft's affect steering response? Making that switch in my 335 changed the steering response from sharp to sluggish which led me down a slippery slope of suspension modifications..

I did not notice any negative changes. If anything, the PSS are better tires. The car handles at least as well as it did with stock tires.

In my case, the car handles better in every respect. Ride quality is improved too. Grip is in a completely different league with the PSS.

I know handling and grip are vastly improved when switching to PSS from rft's. I'm wondering how the switch affected steering response. On the E90 steering response becomes sluggish.

My prior car was a 135i, and when I made the move to PSS's, I did notice the turn-in was slightly less precise, particularly at low speed. I've noticed no such effect on the Z4. I'm on 19" if it make a difference.

Thanks and I'm sure 19" makes a difference since there's less sidewall flex than 18"
