Unable to open Z4 Trunk

HELP!

I disconnected the battery so that I could install the sirius Radio. My wife accidentally closed the trunk before I had reconnected the battery. Now I am unable to open the trunk to reconnect the battery. Trunk open button is electronic and obviously the electrical system is down since the battery is disconnected. How do I manually open the trunk?

Thanks a bunch.

1. Try connecting a battery charger to the charging points under the hood to energize the system, then open the trunk.

2. Next step is to grab something large and heavy and tell the other half not to go within 10 ft of the car ever again!!!

3. Phone your lawyer to try and save your butt if you actually did step 2.
