Glove Box Removal

I need to remove the glove box to replace the blower motor. I removed all the screws I could find and the glove box seemed as solid as ever. I did not remove the airbag or cover below the glove box or the lower panel. I could see the blower motor behind the glove box through the hole the wiring for the 6 CD player uses. Does anyone know how to get to glove box out or alternatively how to replace the blower motor?

Thanks.

Can't help - but would be a great help in the future if you document the process and take some pictures.

Good luck...

Glove Box

I have the exact same problem. I can see the motor and resistor after I removed the panel that covers the fuse panel, but was unable to remove the glove box. All screws removed and box was loose, but there must be hidden clips and didn't want to chance breaking them. Please let me know if you resolve the problem or its off to the dealer or local Indy shops for a fix though I'd rather do it myself, but need more info.
Thanks and good luck.

To get the glove box removed you need to remove three panels around it ( ! )
-The one on the right side, where also the cable to the the airbag switch needs to be disconnected. This is easy. Behind this panel there is one screw holding the glove box.
-The one panel below the glove box that you remove also when accessing the fuse box, held with three screws. Now you have access to one (of the many) screw(s) on the right side on the bottom holding the glove box in place.
-And the 3rd one is the one right below the glove box. After removing this panel you get access to 2 screws on the left side holding the glove box. They are black on black, so you definitely need flashlight to see them.

The rest of the screws are visible on the top side of the glove box when opening its cover. There you dont need to touch the screws holding the instrument panel.

Then you just pull out the glove box. There are cables on the left side that you need to disconnect if you want to take the glove box out of the car. The cables are rather long anyway.
