anyone know if e90 17" wheels (17x8 et34) will fit an e89 35i with sport pkg?

www.tirerack.com shows winter tires in 17 with rims of the same or similar size and offset.

Stock 3.5i sport pkg wheels are 8 x 19 29 front and 9 x 19 40 rear.
or sport pkg wheels are 8 x 18 29 front and 8.5 x 18 40 rear.
base 3.5i non sport pkg wheels are 8 x 17 29 front and 8.5 x 19 40 rear.

www.realoem.com shows bmw parts and they show a 8 *17 with 29 offset, noted as winter only. your stated size would be closer to the shock tower by 6 mm, but that is not likely to be an issue, the inter dia. brake clearance is the likely rub, if any.

Be aware not all rims of same size have same clearance to the brake, but most are similar.
