What is that Thing?

Hi guys,

Fot those of you who knows me already, I call parts that I do not know what they are "the thing".
Take a look at the photo. Can anyone tell me what is that thing, I encircled in red? (the little bump right behind the 3rd light)I do not see that on my Z4 (MY 1/2011) I don't see that thing on the European cars, I only see it on the US ones.

That "thing" is for the SAT radio antenna.

I learned one thing Bigmouth Studio, BMWHK does not retrofit anything, not only because it is not possible, because they are just lazy and are only interested in selling cars. period!!!!

I like that baby shark fin/morning tent thingy, but why do you guys outside of NA want to retro fit it? Can you get SAT there? Or just want to be different? (which I can totally understand)

I think it is really cool and looks a ton better than the shark fin stick on that sits atop other BMWs

Heheh, I just think because we like the fact of retrofitting things... lol
Though it is a small thing, but it is cool to be put in the place and much nicer than the E93 one...
