Is it true California is the only convertible hardtop from Ferrari? Mid mount front engine V8?

Me too, I'm 55 so to a youngster that's really old.... I had my M3 up to 160mph and I've had my new Zed up to 155 before the limiter stopped it. I haven't tried to wrap the speedo in it since I had the remap (no limiter anymore) so who knows how fast it'll go....

Maybe I should start driving like a kid ....

(We're just jealous of your grad gift.... wanna trade parents ?)

The California represents a numbers of firsts for Ferrari.

It's Ferrari's 1st and only convertible hardtop.

The front mounted v8 engine is a 1st, which is front mid-mounted just behind the front axle.

It's also Ferrari's first DCT transmission car, so far exclusively but Ferrari is working on a MT for it.

The key is drive fast where it's safe to and not do stupid things that get you in trouble with the law. Oh yeah, and don't get caught ....

Enjoy the new ride

I've never gotten cut while speeding, or for that matter, injured in any other way, shape or form. I keep my arms inside the car and don't play with razor blades while driving. I've managed to stay blood-free during all the speeding I've done in my Z4.

However, I did stub my finger once, while pushing the CD into the slot too hard.

Its also the first one to have a decent interior!

PS Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional.

I really like the California, and it has a lot in common with the Z4.

I'm sure most of us noticed it but pointing out gramatical errors on a forum is rather pointless. I think one just extrapolates the 'gist' of he poster and runs with it.
