windy hair
I'm not that tall (5'7") and my seat is set all the way down to the floor. With the top down and all the windows up, I still have some draft hitting my hair. Just wondering if you guys have this 'prb'? Is there a way to make the cabin draft-free w/ the top down? I have the wind deflector and it helps a bit, but still not perfect.

I drive around the city with windows down top down mostly, and I don't find the wind too much to handle with the deflector on. I lift the windows up for highway travel but most of the draft only hit top of my head, didn't bother my hair too much at all.
I think you must have silky smooth hair for the draft to bug you that much, I think you should take it as a complement and enjoy the open wind a bit more. especially in this nice weather right now. the alternative is to wear a nice helmet and drive as fast as you can.

If you have the seat all the way down, at 5'7" you probably can't see much of the hood. I hope you have parking distance indicators.

What, top down and you feel a draft and wind on your hair.
I have a similar problem when I go to the pool, it's wierd, I get wet! |

I'm 6'5" and don't find it overly drafty. I've driven convertibles my whole life and as far as wind goes, it is rather tame. If you find it bothersome, purchase the wind blocker. That makes a world of difference.

LOL, ok you smart-alecs. I know convertible=wind, just that I saw some car reviews and the guy's hair doesn't move, so I'm wondering. I probably need more hairspray then haha.
I can see a wee bit but now have finally mastered the feel for the distances, so no need for parking sensors (I personally prefer not to have them). I always back into spaces anyway. |
