Z4 'Pure White Design' package
Does anyone have the above on their car?
The dealer can't give me a definitive answer as to what's included, but from pictures I've seen in the catalogue and on this forum, it would appear that in addition to the seats and centre armrest, the instrument cowling and entire console are also covered in leather. Is that correct and, if so, what about the door cappings and armrests? The catalogue only mentions Alcantara door inserts and that it's Nappa leather on special seats. What's the difference between Kansas and Nappa leather and just how special are the seats? If I could find a dealer in my area who has a car with this option I'd go and have a look for myself, but we don't have much choice in this part of Scotland. It certainly looks the business, but at £1,225 it's not cheap and I'd like to know exactly what I'm getting. Many thanks, Jon D. |

To add to that, Nappa Leather is a smooth finish where Kansas Leather is more grainy. So far, the white is easy to keep clean. I love the look.

The cream beige leather is pretty light but it does have a pebble grain texture. I have it in my car and like it.

To clear things up:
1.) That Havannah is only available in combination with Oure White is history. They changed that a couple of months ago. You can get both, Havannah as well as Pure White with any combination of other paint/leather you want. 2.) Pure White has by far the most leather throughout the car than any other leather. Even if you buy the extended leather setup with other colors, you will have less leather. Pure White basically puts leather everywhere (some of it being black though). 3.) Pure White leather is different from all other leather interiors. They use a very soft leather. It's surface is smooth and even. I would say it's more upper class than the other leather. 4.) If you choose Pure White, the seats will have a stripe of Alcantara cloth running down from the shoulder area to the bottom side. Also, the doors have some of that Alcantara cloth. If you like the color - go for it! It's very luxury and upscale and you pay less than for the extended leather setup of the other colors (even though you get much more leather for the money). |

I've also got this and it's great. Leather everywhere, photos don't do it justice as you can't see the detail of the black leather on top of the instruments or the stitching.
I did worry about keeping it clean but the leather is so smooth that any marks wipe off fairly easily (I have a pack of baby wipes in the glove box for this). |

I have the white leather interior. I agree that the leather is easy to clean. What do you clean the Alcantara with? The seat belts have left black marks on the Alcantara

No idea, I also have a black mark on the alcantara on the outside of the seat. Wonder is something like a suede cleaner will get it out?
