I am on a visit to Europe and missing my Z4. Otherwise not thinking much haha. I almost forgot how much people love sports wagons and diesels in this part of the world.
I wish I could bring back some of the fresh and clean air, some of the smoother roads (with no traffic jams) and a perhaps pair of tires which I would know for sure weren't fakes sold at a premium.

Other than that I have been driving top down during most of the winter. Below +5C a hat is needed though haha

What are you thinking?

No as in the only differences are the side grills and headlight rings. Not worth an extra 40,000 USD. I purchased mine CPO with 13.6k miles for 54.6k It stickers for 107k. In USD thats. 57.8 and 113.5k respectively. Needless to say cars are artificially priced here, as a z4 is not worth 113.5k USD. A 14 month old (like mine) 35is lost 49% off MSRP in just over a year...thus NO will be sticking with mine till next generation and even then 1 year out, would never buy new here.

I was almost going to order the Valencia Orange Z4 but the interior put me off - I went with the pearlescent Mineral White instead with Walnut interior.

Every time I see pics of it though, I wonder if I've made a mistake! Can still change the order... for now... nightmare!

I've been driving the Z4 with the top down a lot because the weather has been nice. But it's about to get really hot here pretty soon...

I was in Germany last year and cannot get over how much more the car prices are over there. I think your choice to purchase slightly used is a wise one.

I like the combo you ordered and I think you will too. First choice is always the best ... so they say anyway

Lucky you ... I know when it gets hot in Texas it is unbearable ... reminds me when I travelled thru the Mohave Desert in 2010 in my then Z4 it was over 120 F at the lowest point (sea level). Needless to say we had the top down. However, 1/2 hour later (on our way to California) back up in the mountains the top came back down.

I think that I figured out what I don't like about the black top on the refresh... It's almost like it takes away from the idea that it's a hardtop. Damn near all of the older ones had a black soft top and seeing the body color stretched over the roof is really appealing to me. Particularly when you put the top down. "Holy shit that's a transformer" is lessened a bit in my mind if the top visually looks like a different piece.

Enjoying the balmy 80's here in AZ . Roof and battery issues had put a damper on the enjoyment but all is well after the dealer replaced the battery and fixed the roof noise (somewhat)....

DC weather has been schizophrenic lately. It'll be 60 degrees on one day, blizzard the next, 55 the day after that and down to the low 30's for a couple days before shooting back up into the high 50's.

While I've had a few top down days here & there, I am watering at the mouth for my first taste of spring / summer in my new 2013. Its pretty much been a top up car since getting it in Dec.

Lucky you, we got -4°C, and yet they keep talking about climate warning like we hadn´t the coldest winter since 70 years.

It was a Balmy 37 degrees last weekend for the 1st top down crusie in months. Today, the 2nd day of spring so the calendar states, it's in the mid 20's and already snowed another 6 inches on top of the 5 on Monday. Real spring weather is only a distant memory in the Northeast.

Nein! Top down day here in CA. This weekend - Humm, I think I will wash it, go lay down some PSS rubber on the tarmack, and watch the Malaysian F1 GP with a Dunkel Weizen or two.

+1

I've been driving around with the roof down all "winter", as long as it is over 50F outside

and to the OP, no way on the trade-in for the LCI E89.

Different turn signals aren't nearly enough to make a difference for me.

We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow ... temps have been below 45 essentially all March long ... I get up and going early, often temps are below 30 or even below 20 & I don't want to drive with the summer, arr, excuse me, performance run flat tires, when it's below freezing.

Only managed to take the car out two to three times over the winter months.

Last year, it was in the 70's and we even hit 80 once or twice -- and I was waiting for my car to be built! Now the car is waiting for the nicer weather ...

Weather has been same over including Europe. This time of year the flowers are all out in Holland and people form all over come to admire them. A great disappointment this year. Hope it improves soon. I too take my M3 out when the weather is nice just to give her some exercise
