xenon headlights

Hi All,

So the menu said that our Z4 35i has Xenon Adaptive headlights. When I read Xenon, I think that it should be the white lights, but my headlights seem yellowist. Unlike my friend who bought the 335is convertable, she has white lights which looks cooler. I just want to confirm that all the z4 35i is yellowish, right?

The Xenon bulbs are around 4500k color stock so yes a bit yellow. You will need a 5500k-6000k bulb for a cooler look - literally.

I assume you are not referring to the ring/coronas, and instead the actual headlights when they are on? My rings are yellow and the headlights bright white with amazing visibility at night. The new 335 vert. does have the white led rings versus our older style yellow rings as daytime running lamps.

Vintage, I think you are right, but somehow the yellow rings kinda overwhelm the white light bulb. The white ring will look so much better..
