LED Angel Eyes installation: correct housing ?

OK, the MTEC White Blue 4750K halogen bulb is plug and play & whiter than stock but not as white as the 3-Series new angel eyes (2010 facelift).

So I was thinking to buy LED Angel Eyes at http://www.e92-lighting.com/products...0_E82-5-0.html

Much more expensive than the MTEC Halogen bulb but I guess/hope that the result will be different.

Now it seems there is an aluminium cylinder coming with the LED and I do not understand where it can fit into the headlight housing of a 2009 E89.


Question: anyone already installed these LED on a 2009 E89 ? Where do the cylinder fit ?

Purchased, installed & works well. Much brighter than the MTEC halogen.

Last question: did you tie up the black cylinder inside the housing with some tape ? Or they just hang and are free to move ?
