Z4@Phukit,
How do we pronounce your username? Is the "Ph" pronounced like it is in the word "Physics", or is it a regular P sound, as in the word "Puke"? Either way does not translate very well in English. |

If it's your only car and you DD it, I would buy a cheap roadster like S2000.
If not, why not just get a Z4 and drive the hell out of it? |

Phuket (pu-ket)is a medium size island in Southern part of Thailand, in the Andaman sea. We have more than 6 millions visitors each year. WE have amazing beaches, deep blue sea, chino-portuguese architecture and all year round sun for "TOP DOWN Z4"

the only down side? Thats a heck of a down side! I would have to say that the interior and exterior on the z4 is substantially more beautiful also over the porsche. There is no comparison. I also like the ride much much more in the z4. Much more enjoyable all round car.

I previously owned a very tuned 335i and recently bought a z4. I much prefer the handling in the Z4 to the 335i. The 335i stock has too much body roll and sits too high off the ground. The Z4 is wider and has much better road feel (in my opinion), along with less understeer. I will bet every penny I own that stock for stock, a Z4 will beat a 335i to 80mph. The trunk of the Z4 is actually pretty useful. I have never had any problems with trunk storage. I would never buy another 335i after owning this Z4. The only downside is the Z4's stereo is not quite as clean sounding, and the Z4 has interior noises, like creaks, that happen from time to time, but not everyday. I'm very happy with the Z4 and really enjoy driving it. Also, it looks so incredibly cool......its lines make it attractive from every angle, and the same cannot be said for the 335i (in my opinion.)

I moved from an E93 to a Z4... The Engine though is literally the same, The DCT on the Z4 gave it an advantage. My E93 was a steptronic. I did not yet took delivery of my Z4, but test drove it for more than 10 times... Made the decision to buy it from the 1st test drive, placed the order right after the1st drive, but been coming back to the showroom and test driving it, as I can't stand the idea of waiting...
I find the E93 to b a beautiful car as well, yet, not as sporty, beautiful and powerful as the Z4... Mind you that my E93 was heavily modified... I am and was not fan of the E92!!! But I must say, you are so wrong about the Porsche... If you are looking for a futuristic car, maybe you need to go after the Japa cars.. Though I am not worry about you, you already drove a BMW and know what it means to be behind the wheels... Last edited by Land_Shark; 01-03-2011 at 01:01 AM.. |
