Electric coolant pump shut down

I need some help, sorry if this is a repeat post, new to me. So my car started going crazy this morning. Said engine temp was getting too hot, pull over (it was 80 degrees out) about 20 seconds later it told me to pull over that the engine was over heating. Ran some diagnostics and got two fault codes. Putting two and two together, I believe it may be the water pump? Could it be a sensor? This is the second time it has happened in two months. Luckily it is under Cpo and they say it should be covered. Please give me some thoughts, ideas, greatly appreciated! Ps, it has a stage 2 Cobb tune... Not sure if that has contributed. Thank you guys!

Tune should have nothing to do with it.

You need a water pump...
