Finally got the folding mirror working!
The biggest disappointment of my new Z4 are the auto folding mirrors. Why can't it auto fold using the key fob?
From the German Z4 forum, I found someone who can program this for different cars, including the new Z4. His website is: http://www.car-coding.de I was meeting him yesterday. After waited for about a hour (and a few tries) it finally worked Here is a video: http://www.vimeo.com/7998670 This is a nice bonus. I don't have the comfort opening http://www.vimeo.com/7998645 Last edited by Maaij; 12-05-2009 at 10:26 AM.. |

At least you have auto folding mirrors!! Mine is all manual labor including my seats. I opted for non premium since it was a 2 seater that I couldn't recline the seats all the way back. I also figures I was the only driver to not need memory seats. This is the first for me to not have premium on any of my previous BMWs.

For those of us who don't sprechen Sie Deutsches (like me), click the links below for the Babel Fish German --> English for few of his web pages. It couldn't do a couple of the pages and/or it didn't make much difference in the translation.

Interesting. Do you know how your dealer programmed it? My understanding is that it's *not* an option that they can turn on but seems as though they need to *program* it by inserting code.
Do you know if this is the case and if it is, what exactly the dealer had to do to get it to work as I would like to have this also. |

I really don't know how they program?? but it took 15 min. to do it.
My Z4 comes with comfort access, but my E60 just have electric folding mirrors. Both cars work well after programming |
