Yes, I am sure they will have a nice offer for remaining 2011 models ("must take delivery from dealer stock"). Just won't be able to custom build one anymore ...

By the way, the lease offer is still valid today (August 1)!

Use cars.com to see what 2011 z4's are available in your area.

I had to fly to Pittsburg to get the one I wanted and drive home to jersey.

A lot up on the site are already sold so call the dealer to confirm b4 making a trip over to the dealer.

And play hardball the dealer needs to get rid of the 2011's left.

Just to clear things up here...You don't need to play HARDBALL with a dealer that has one in stock! Think about it logically "Why would they HAVE to get rid of a car that there are hardly any of left, and whose rates/residuals arent going to change for the whole month of August?" They know the programs on em' and that there are guys like you on this blog that know whats up.... Hardball wont work... Just go in and tell them you know all the rates/residuals/programs/etc...Talk to them like people and they will do the same If you offer a deal of $500 over invoice and buy rate on the MF they SHOULD sign you up!
Sorry man, but if you played HardBall with me on my last Z4's I would boot you out of my office!
GOOD LUCK

Did tire insurance cover bubbles or did you have flats / nails?
is that 520 tax included with tire insurance?

You can't really get bubbles in a runflat can you?

Mine have all been nails

$771 is a lot of money, but 2 swaps and it paid for itself

Yes, bubbles are actually very common with run flats.

If you plan to keep the runflats on then i think its worth it. Im swapping mine out right away, i just hate them.

Typical car salesmen. It's a career not going anywhere. You should consider a job with better growth opportunities.

Dealers generally dont want 2011s taking up room with new 2012s coming in. And yes hardball is how to get the best deal when dealing with people like you.

520 is with tax and all fees

Wheel and tire insurance is not included in that. I paid cash for that.

And I'm still trying to find out if bubbles are covered under the insurance?????!

What options did you get with it?

Also, how does the BMW drive for team usa work? I have already register for the event. My CA said that I will receive a voucher or some sort for 1k after the event is over??

Thanks

O good to know...

Regarding what the insurance will and won't cover, get the name of the company they're going to use and read the contract. read it. read every detail of it.

Great for you. I wish you the best but with the internet and more informed buyers I dont see growth in the industry for salesmen. The profit margin is just sliding downwards. If there was I would have loved to make a career out of talking cars all day.

Yes, the internet has a wealth of information but that doesnt mean salesmen are not making money. It costs less money for dealers to use the internet to make sales opposed to having a huge facility and paying X number of employees as well. In fact, an internet based dealership stands to make even more money that way. It also comes down to supply and demand. Especially with the 2011s right now. I know Im paying too much for my car but I wanted it and it was the only one available so I took it. In fact, the salesmen even said take it or leave it (and he meant it- 100%). Im sure this situation isnt exclusive to me either and I definitely was an informed consumer. Just sayin'.

Yes using the internet to make sales is much cheaper but the Internet salesmen are not paid the same commission as floor salesmen. My buddy is a manager at Paul miller BMW in nj and the internet salesmen are paid salary and 250 commission a car.

Maybe its different at every dealer. I don't know.

And yes after the event you will get the 1,000 off any lease or BMW car purchase.

I would do the MSD program
Multiple security deposits

You have to give 7 payments that you are guaranteed to get back at the end and it brings the money rate down.

Looks like the lease rates remain the same through the end of august. Too bad I rushed into the 3.0!

Pics added.....Finally had time to pick up the Z4 I'm blown away by the sound of the oem exhaust. This thing sounds as good as a Ferrari
Lots and lots of power and great ride even with the runflats.

Plus a couple of pics of the M3 with the new AP BBK and Arc-8 wheels loaded and ready for Autobahn on Monday
