Sorry in Advance - Another Wheel Question

Hi All,

I have a 2011 Z4 35i DCT with standard suspension etc. The issue is, the previous owner sold the original 19" wheels that come with the car and purchased some 17" 5 spoke BMW wheels with winter tyres for some reason.

Anyway, I need to change these and have decided to go the after market route.

My issue is that I cant seem to find a definite size that I can go for as all forums etc have different info.

I dont want to go any bigger than 19" and correct me if im wrong, im would like a staggered fit. I dont want to be messing around with spacers or arch rolling or rubbing etc.

Please can someone just give me the correct size of wheel and tyre size to help with my search.

Many Thanks and sorry for another boring wheel post!!!!!!

What were the dimensions of the original 19s? Can't you find an aftermarket wheel that has the same dimensions?

I went with VMR V710 and have regretted it since. The 2 fronts needed rebalancing after 3 months due to slight buckles in the wheel.

I've had them on the car for a year and they have kept picking up buckles all over, on my last visit to get them rebalanced the guy told me to give up and buy new wheels. The finish on the rears has also started to bubble.

VMR have been useless with customer support. Since they are forum sponsors most negative threads about them get deleted by mods so you won't see the other horror stories.

Try another wheel maker such as Avant Garde.

I have a square set with 18x8" O.Z. Ultraleggara, 245mm PSSs.

245/40ZR18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

No problems are there is plenty space left, I am sure 255mm front would easily be a go.

No spacers and looks fine. Would look a bit better with spacers.

Ive gone for a set of Cades Artemis 8.5 on the front and 9.5 on the rear.

http://www.cadeswheels.com/images/artemis-bkfl.jpg

Sizes 235 - 30 - 19 they look good on the front but think they dont quite look right on the rear. Would a 265 - 40 -19 on the rear affect the ride etc?

Many Thanks

This is the optimal setup for your Z to avoid any mods/spacers/rubbing. We carry sets in these exact offset, plus. Feel free to PM us any questions you may have.
