not sure how to feel about the show runners taking the story into their own hands..

at least the Arya arc is sort of sticking to the book..

Best episode of the season by far.

LOVED the powerful imagery that alluded to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse:

Also cool to get a good look at the Night's King and the stare down between he and Jon Snow as Snow thinks to himself...

Jon Snow's fight with the Icewalker was EPIC. The end was really a "Wow FML" moment.

I was travelling so didn't get to watch the latester episode. Reading you guys' comments I was expecting one hell of a battle. Watched it last night and it was just okay. I mean there was finally some action but this season so far has been a bit of a let down for me.

Agreed. Waited a whole year and thus far the season has been disappointing, to say the least. Barely any developments or action. It started off slow and continued to be slow...

Surprised no one liked the episode. That scene where Shireen told her dad she'd do whatever she can to help him only to see the stake and begin screaming for help from her dad was gut wrenching.

Stanis Baratheon, father of the year.

In a twist of irony, the only person who seemed to regret the decision, was the one person who never seemed to give a shit about her in the first place, her own mother.

The only thing that really urks me is the Unsullied, they're supposed to be some epic fighting force yet always seem to get bested by a bunch of thugs in masks.
