Correct - unless you get one with manual transmission. Those do not have DCT.

You are mistaken. The current and future MY Z435i / 35is can not be configured with a manual tranny. Only the 28i can have that (at least here in the USA).

Ok. In Europe or at least here in Finland you can have 18i, 20i or 28i with manual or auto. Then 35i manual or DCT and 35is DCT only.

fun fact... in china most 335i e92 and e93 lci models are equipped with the dct as standard as well. In europe it came with three transmission options... 6MT, 6AT and 7DCT
