2011 z4 Key Fob Programming
Does anyone know how to program a new key fob for a 2011 Bmw z4? I just bought this car used and it only came with one key fob. I just bought two blank keys from Amazon and have searched this forum and could not find a procedure that worked.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! |

Dont know much about programming keys, but...
I know Zero to 60 youtube channel did some videos on programming keys to e92 335i few years ago... probably the same as e89 z4... Search youtube for "zero to 60 keys" and you will probably find it.

As I understand it you need an authorised BMW service centre, the car and one working key all together to allow a second key to be programmed……the security system reads two modules in the car CAS and DME and updates codes every time you use the car..do not that simple AFAIK
