Self-service washes in/around NYC

Can't find any touchless (brushless) automatic washes in/around NYC. The closest thing I've found is a self-service wash (the BP at 6011 Queens Blvd in Woodside). Does anyone know of any other options??? My M4 is starting to get really, really dirty. I realize that there are places that will hand-wash but I'm looking for high-pressure automatic washes with no brushes.

That's a good spot. When I'm in Europe and need to wash family cars, I always go down to the Shell down the street. I have a bucket w/ soap and a sponge on the back seat along with a few gallons of fresh water. I hose the entire car off, then wash the car using the bucket, sponge and water that I brought myself, and then hose it off. Then I pull away from the washing bay so the next person can use it, and then dry the car off.

When I lived in Richmond Hill Queens I remember having to drive to Nassau County Long Island to one of those DIY washes.

Definitely. The only one I found anywhere close to the 5 Boroughs was kinda deep into LI. Route 110 in Farmingdale. A bit far from Queens, but a some what fun drive because traffic thins out so you get the opportunity to play a bit instead of the normal 25-30 MPH stop and go driving experience know throughout the NYC Area.

Just keep an eye out for State Troopers on the Southern State PKWY. I used to go out there to play a few years back, but they have been out in force for the past 2 years or so... ask me how I know...:fi ghting0056:
