Oh my god! Looks like open heart surgery. I can't believe you've been waiting for 3 months. I hope it all turns out well for you.
Falconflyer installed the Alpines and used 8000k bulbs. Search that thread and you'll see pictures showing the Alpines looking just like OEM.

Wow. Hard to believe that the insurance company didn't just declare it totalled.
Seeing these pictures really hurts. |

Oh believe me thats one thing im not worried about at all. The is one of a handful of bodyshops to be certified to work on the new Mclaren MP4-12C carbon fiber shell. My car was the least expensive one there. 599's DBS' 458 and an MP4-!2C just to name a few

To answer your question go with 6000 for upgrade. 7k lose too much light and the blueish is OTT. Depends on your neighborhood and how much dissin you subject yourself to. Enjoy and let us see the final product when you relaunch it.

Same here. Good luck! I can't believe it has taken this long. Is this do to the extent of the repairs or is any accident repair lengthy due to parts?

In my case it was a little of both. Work couldn't begin because I needed new frame rails and those took 2 months to source from Germany. After that, they just kept finding brackets that were broken and that I needed a completely new subframe. After that it was like building a Lego

The subframe you're referring to is the front suspension, right? I'm surprised they didn't notice that right away. With that much damage I can't imagine it not being tweaked rather severely.
The new frame rails had to be welded in, correct? They must have the engine back in it now. Do you have progress photos?
