Ropey Clutch

Just wondering if anyone has had clutch problems?
My 2009 23i, when cold and from standing, is far from smooth when driving off.
Its done 24k which has mainly been motorway miles but it is only recently that Ive noticed that no matter what I do the clutch is not smooth and the car feels a bit jerky when letting the clutch pedal up.
Im not the best driver in the world but I certainly know how to drive away smoothly and to change gear slowly but I just wanted your feed back before I get filled with sh1t from the dealers
Any comments appreciated!

How cold is it there? I have an E90 6MT, and when I first start it up in the morning I have jerky shifts too, but once its been going for a couple minutes it all seems to sort itself out. It definitely gets worse as the mercury drops though... I'd wait on it until it warms up a bit more, like spring time and if you're still noticing it then take it in.

Clearly symptoms of a bad clutch disk - needs replacing.
