Check engine sign?

Oh my god....I'm starting to be concerned about reliability of BMW....

A have already changed my HPFP after check engine came up almost a year ago, after several visits to the dealer.

Now I have another trouble. On the speed of 45 mph i've heard a knocking sound (1 sec) in the BACK of my car! Nothing else happened. Then i opened a full thorttle and the yellow check engine sign came up, acceleration slowed down and my exhaust started to sould twice louder and with deeper tone, just like a tunned mustang. I immediately stopped engine and tried to start it again - the check engine sign was still there, but the exhaust and acceleration was fine. I tried to open a full thorttle again and a hard metallic sound "kicked" in the back of the car again. Still have a check engine sign and I wonder if some of you guys might know what it possibly could be? I wonder how would be cracking sound in the back can be related to check engine... And those are 100% related issues.

z4 35i, DCT

Now I need to take my JB4 out and get a car to the dealer, but anyway I want to try to figure out what happened and why?

I was not abusing the car at all and it have never seen track or any kind of racing whatsoever.

However, I really loved how the car sounded at those moments! ) Fantastic!

Garage List
2013 BMW 535i  [0.00]
I think i had this issue before, I floored it and the CEL came on, i shut it off and restarted it real quick and was still there, felt very sluggish.

I immediately put JB4 to Map 0.

I was on my way to a meet so the car sat for a few hrs, by the time i went to leave the light was gone and I never saw it again.

So see if the CEL is still on in the morning, if so get the torx wrench out lol
