Sunburn in January
Enjoyed a super sunny weekend here in SC with a high about 65. Lesson learned about sunscreen in a convertible.....I have a little sunburn on my neck and ears. I always have sunscreen on my face though as a 40 something female. Perhaps a bottle of sunscreen in the trunk is a good idea. Just wouldn't have thought a January day would Produce sunburn. Lesson learned as a first time convertible owner. Did get the top to go up and down with the key (which I posted about a couple weeks ago).

As a 50ish male with thining hair, I always have a hat in the car for top down days, but still use sunscreen daily as well. The hat works well until about 75 and then develops "lift" unless it is on real tight.
I almost dropped the top today but decided 70 mph wind chill was a bit much, having just gotten over a cold.

So I guess I shouldn't complain about weather that is consistently in the 50s and 60s! 72 degrees when I left work at 4:30, top down drive home!

Yes it has been an unusual winter so far ... last week I washed my car in my drive way ... at 10 Degree C (50 Degree F) Neighbours coming home from work waved at me ... I wonder if they were thinking "what a nutcase he is"

I'm just afraid the pollen is going to dump on the Carolina's super early this year.....like February. I cannot drive with the top down when the pollen is out. Allergies!
