Chrome windshield sprayers

I have Z8 chrome windshield sprayers on my Topaz Blue Z3 and was hoping to move them to the new DSB Z4. I am a fan of chrome against Blue. Unless someone knows otherwise these are not the same size and shape and won't move over. I have heard of chroming plastic parts. thinking about it for the Z4. recommendations?

Here's a shot of the Z3 with it for those that like picts.
Thanks,
Blu

i think that chrome's look outdated, but if you like it its a personnal choice.

I think too much chrome takes away from the looks of the car, but a little accent here and there would look good. If you like the look, why not do it. Probably best to use chromed metal, as chrome on plastic tends to weather easily and more likely to peel over time.

Pick up new set from BMW and send them out to be plated, then there is no issue with them fitting. The E89 shares nozzles with the E46 only, and they all appear to be heated and may require some disassembly before plating. My sources says they run about $25.00 each.

Yeah, I'd prefer they'd match the vehicle color. I'm thinking of doing just that with my side markers and WW nozzles. Already had the liscense plate mounts matched to Crimson red. Will probably do this when I upgrade to the M sport frt bumper later this year.

chrome is out, too flashy for a flashy car, cheapens the look IMO

Thanks Chuck B, for the only usable "on topic" response.
I was working toward the second set idea and wanted any first hand knowledge or suggested vendors who can do the work. i'll address locally.
