Wheel Offset and Tire Size Question

Hello everyone,

Just a question on some wheel offset and tire size. I'm considering getting some 18" staggered wheels. I'm just wondering if this set is perfectly fine on a stock E89?

Front: 18x8 et35
Rear: 18x9.5 et40

Also any recommendation for tire size? 235/40 for the fronts and 265/35 for the rear would work and cause no rubbing?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Best bet is to ask your local Discount Tire experts.
I switched from 255/35/18 to 265/35/18 rear tires on the stock 18" rims. Discount Tire said I would be Ok and all is good.

those widths and offsets are WEAK. Youre not gonna be anywhere close to flush.

You dont need to worry about rubbing the fender with that setup, you need to worry about rubbing the suspension.

Go lower offset and a little wider.

I'm not really looking for something flush, just bigger wheels since the stock 17" are too small for my liking. Is that set-up really cause a problem with the suspension? Front is pretty much the same as the 18" OEM wheels, back is 1" wider.

If I can go flush w/o causing any problems, then why not? Any suggestion or example?
